Playhouse Help - Bring in the Reserves!

Grandpa, Uncle Michael and our very good friend, Jeff all stopped by for a few hours (okay, more than a few) to help Adam with the playhouse. It was particularly miserably sunny and HOT this past Saturday while they worked...poor guys!

Here's Grandpa! He worked hard cutting the boards in the stuffy, hot garage for the roof structure.

Grandpa listens to Ava talk about the "mean ants" that she plans on "squishing" if they "bite" her.

Grandpa shows Ava and cousin Caleb the ants on the tree. Ava and Caleb love each other like brother and sister, but also fuss like it as well! They kept shoving each other out of the way to look at the ants on the tree. I can't wait to remind them of stories like this when they are teenagers.



Jeff arrives and stayed until the roof was completely framed out. What a trooper!
