Easter this year was the holiday that seemed as though it would never end. We kicked off the festivities with an Easter egg hunt with the Lake Highlands Area Early Childhood PTA group to which we belong. She got a few eggs, then promptly sat down in the grass to begin enjoying their contents. Our next egg hunt and brunch took place in the front yard of one of our neighborhood friends, the Silverbergs. Ava got plenty of eggs and enjoyed visiting with a small group of pals. The Easter bunny was sure to leave eggs at Nana and Poppys house where Ava had to hurry and find them before all the chocolate melted! Aunt Michelle brought an adorable basket for Miss Ava, which she immediately dove into. She got a basket from Mom and Dad Easter morning before we headed off to church, then had a hunt at Grandpa's church to finish off the day! Our house could easily have been mistaken for Willie Wonka's chocolate factory for the full months of April and May!
