Playhouse Construction - Day 3

Fair warning to anyone planning to visit our house anytime soon: Adam is on a mission to finish Ava's playhouse, so he may hand you a hammer, saw or level!

As I've mentioned before, Ava insists on being outside while Adam works on the playhouse. This time she decided to lend a hand by picking up a shovel and getting to work. Here they are leveling the ground and getting the support beams/foundation ready for the playhouse.

Here you can see that she's wearing her "princess crown" while she works. This accessory has become a permanent part of her daily wardrobe.

For a two-and-a-half year old, she's pretty good with a shovel. She calls it a "scoop".

These pictures were taken well after Ava had gone to bed. The neighbors were probably wondering who was hammering at 9:30 p.m.

Those of you who know Adam well won't be surprised to know that he carried the completed floor and each section of the framed-out wall from the garage to the foundation by himself.

Looking good, Adam...way to go, Daddy!

Nice toolbelt Adam.

Thanks for the warning Brandy. I am staying away from your house for a while . . .
