Here you can see him sweeping out all of the sawdust and general construction yuck-o. He showed me the smoke detector, two interior halogen spotlights, the front porch light and the doorbell that he plans to install sometime soon!
Here's an interior shot. The square opening on the right is where the air conditioner will be installed...hey, we ARE in Texas where our average temperature last week was a scorching 101 degrees!
Here's a shot of the inside that shows you how the ceilings will be open so that adults won't have to stoop, once inside.
Ava still wakes up every morning excited to see the progress from the previous night and asks, "Is it finished?". I'm not sure how we're going to get her out of this house once it's all done!
