Nana's new eyes!

Ava and I drove my Mom to Oklahoma City early this week so that she could get Lasik eye surgery. The 3+ hour drive was definitely one of the longest Ava has ever endured, but she was a trooper! We stayed overnight in a hotel just up the street from the Lasik office and took advantage of the hotel pool to cool off. We had a fun dinner at Joe's Crab Shack where Ava got to feed the ducks, fish and turtles in the pond below the deck where we sat. We turned in early to get a good nights sleep before Nanas procedure and Ava and I shopped at a local mall after dropping Nana off in the morning. Ava and Nana slept for a good part of the trip home the next day, which made the drive a breeze. Congrats on your new eyes, Nana!

Ava this was your first "road trip". Notice the toe chewing insued mid way...you got a little bored. You never complained and you kept me and mommy intertained and amazed. I love you girls. And seeing the two of you first with my NEW EYES for the first time will forever be a KODAK moment in my mind. Thank you for being an interested part of my latest miracle. Brandy your loving kindness never ends toward me.
