The Boat

We've owned our lake house for about a year and a half now and decided it was time to add a boat.  We shopped for a few months and were pretty sure we were going to get a pontoon, but Adam had a need for speed (he loves kneeboarding and skiing), and he found the perfect compromise at the boat show in a deck boat.  Now we are still able to have friends and family on board and we also have a water sports and fishing option.  We've already enjoyed several boating weekends on the new toy with lots of friends and family.  We hope to make many fun family memories on the lake.

Poppy, Uncle Josh and Aunt Caylon came down for Labor Day to join us for a day on the lake.  

You can see the fun banana-type tube in the pictures above and below.  Uncle Josh was the guinea pig for that fun.  You should have seen he and Adam trying to get on that thing in the water!
Poppy and Elizabeth enjoy relaxing in the sun.
Ava was WORN out and fell asleep cuddled next to Aunt Caylon, holding a cracker, mid-bite.
Poppy tested the maximum speed of the boat for us.  It was crazy!!
We had a great Labor Day on the lake and are already so excited for next summer and all of the boating fun!
