Adam and I enjoyed a Friday night get-away at the Gaylord Texan resort in Grapevine, compliments of his family for our birthdays! Ava spent the night with Grandma and Grandpa who brought her up to meet us for the ICE show the next day.

Here, Ava models the special coats they gave us to wear during the
9 degree cold of the exhibit. This was the smallest one they had, and reminded me of "E.T." the way the arms of the coat nearly drug the ground on her!

Check out the red-nosed reindeer behind Ava and Grandma Libby.
Ava thought the ice man driving this carriage (complete with ice horses that are out of frame here) was pretty interesting.
Ava and Mommy pose in front of a beautiful, ice nativity scene.
Wheeeee...Ava wasn't so sure about this ride down the ice slide...
We couldn't resist getting a pic together inside this ice tunnel!
Adam came down the ice slide after Ava!
