I didn't have my camera for the party (shocking, I'm sure), so Aunt Sarah was kind enough to send me these pictures that she took. Thanks, Aunt Sarah!
Unlike Ava at this age, Elizabeth has already had plenty of cake and ice cream, so she knew just what to do with the sweets!
Down the hatch! She wasn't shy about dipping her fingers into the yummy, buttery icing.
Ava stood by to help coach her on, but never tried to take a bite for herself. Ava is the sweetest big sister!
Grandpa (a.k.a. "Crapaw" as a couple of the grandkids call him) and cousin Trevor get silly!
The white, birthday dress had to go to the laundry after the cake fun. Elizabeth loves her new, lion walking toy from Nana and Poppy! She's able to stand all on her own now, and has actually taken a couple of tiny, steps but still isn't quite ready to walk yet.
Here's the most recent shot of our little family of four. It's been so amazing to watch the girls grow and get to know each other over the past year. They really do love each other so very much. Adam and I couldn't be more proud of our two, precious girls!
Here's a nice shot of Elizabeth and her Grandma and Grandpa. Elizabeth has just recently learned to wave, "bye-bye". Her first word (other than Mama and Dada) is dog ("dah"). She LOVES dogs and gets SO excited anytime she sees one. She literally shakes all over and tries to jump out of your arms to get to the dog. She is usually pretty gentle and will just pet and pet any doggie she can.
