My goodness I'd forgotten exactly how much I truly love my sleep. I have Elizabeth to thank for the now nightly reminder of what a blessing 5-6 solid hours of precious slumber might be...once I get it back. She is in the throws of some serious teething and has gone from her first tooth on Feb. 12th to her 5th on April 29th. Numbers 3 through 5 all came in within 5 days of one another! Number 6 is taking it's sweet time coming in and giving us ALL fits! At least Ava is sleeping well. She says that she isn't hearing her sister crying, or us tending to her, in the middle of the night. Thank goodness.
Here are some fun pics taken over the past few weeks.
This is Ava with her friend, Joseph, blowing bubbles in front of our house.

Ava and Joseph are in the same preschool class and also in the same playgroup. I'm good friends with his Mommy, Amie.

Here is Elizabeth in her room, playing with her toys.

She's been able to pull up to standing since the day we moved into the new house, almost two months ago. She's also found the stairs and just loves to climb them. She can crawl to the very top so quickly now!

Ava and Elizabeth are really so sweet together these days. Ava can make Elizabeth giggle like nobody else can!

Elizabeth is into EVERYTHING now and is just busy, busy. She is constantly trying to pull up on the toilets, the oven and wants so badly to get into all of the trash cans. She has a knack for finding the smallest pieces of Ava's toys. I found a red, doll shoe (about the size of a pen cap) in her mouth recently. Big sister, Ava really is a great help in alerting me to Elizabeth playing with "tiny stuff".

A couple of weeks ago we went out to the lake house and were joined by Adam's younger brother, Michael, his wife and their two young boys. Ava loves her cousins, Caleb and Trevor. The older kids went fishing and brought along a good friend of Ava's out there, Gavin. This was Ava's first real fishing experience.

She said she had a really great time trying to catch a fish, but never got a bite.

Ava, Caleb and Gavin pile back into the golf cart after the big fishing experience!

I love those two beautiful girls. They are both so happy and sweet. We can't wait until this weekend.
