Ava's First Real Bike

Adam and I were watching Ava ride her tricycle recently and saw how close her knees were getting to the handle bars. We decided that it was time for an early birthday present for our ever-growing oldest daughter. That's right, our nearly four year old is riding a "big girl" bike! We went to the local bike shop and she test drove one that fit her just perfectly. We did have to add the handlebar streamers and the flowered basket to make it just right, of course.

Auntie Ginger happened to stop by and helped Elizabeth test out big sister's new ride.

We look forward to many family bike rides around our new neighborhood and the nearby lake.
