Fall has brought with it some great weather...the past couple of days have been so nice outside...as well as school starting up again! Ava started her first day of preschool this week! She'll go two days a week this year and likely three days a week next year...then the following year she'll be a kindergartener. Time really flies. I can't believe my baby is now a preschooler. I knew I'd be a bit emotional this week, but couldn't have anticipated the tears that came when I saw this young lady ready to go off for her first day...
I didn't want to break down in front of Miss Ava so Daddy went to work a little late and took her by himself (thanks, Adam).
Speaking of time flying...Miss Elizabeth is almost 10 weeks old already! She's a very vocal young lady and makes all sorts of squeaks, squeals, oohs, aahs and other sounds...she might talk before she rolls over! At her two month appointment she weighed in at 14 lbs, 10 oz and was in the 90th percentile for height...another big girl, just like sister.
Ava is just so very attached to sweet Elizabeth. When we're getting ready to go somewhere she'll say, "Mommy, don't forget Elizabeth"...or, "Can Elizabeth come along too?"
It's so crazy to see Elizabeth in the clothes that Ava wore as a baby. It's so hard to believe that Ava was ever that small!
Elizabeth loves bathtime, so it's such a nice time to spend with her...
Adam and I can't wait until she's big enough to take a bath with big sister!
Ava has also started her fall dance class and will participate in a recital this coming spring
We snapped this picture just before church the other day. I'm still wrapping my mind aroun the fact that we're now a family of four!
