Daddy and his many projects

Those of you who know Adam well...or at all...know how much he loves a good home-improvement project! The boy has undertaken everything from hanging a totally straight picture on the wall to building a playhouse from the ground up (complete with air conditioning wall unit, smoke detector and electrical outlets). He's not scared to crawl up onto a roof, or into a scorchingly-hot attic. Not even 12 trips in one day to his favorite hardware store will stop him from getting the job done! Here are pics from a couple of my favorite recent projects that he's done:

That's a rented tractor that got seriously stuck in some very pudding-like mud out at our lake (golf) house. It took Adam a full 2 hours of back-breaking effort, a shovel, plus about 10 boards and 50 lbs of playsand to get that thing un-stuck. You've gotta give him full credit for his determination.

He wasn't very happy that I was taking pictures as his frustration level had pretty much peaked at this point...

Here's a pic from another fun project that he decided to take on with one of his favorite, equally-in-love-with-home-improvement, buddies, Jeff. This is approximately hour 11 of what they were sure would just be a 5-6 hour project of adding insulation to both of their attics. That's ground-up paper insulation covering each of them.

Here's a sample of the carnage that happened inside the house when part of the hose carrying the insulation to the attic leaked.
Despite the messiness of most of his projects, I'm still very proud of my little Bob Villa of a husband. He's my handy-man deluxe and I wouldn't trade him!
