Happy 3rd Birthday, Ava Grace!

Well, our baby isn't a baby anymore...she turned three years old on Sunday, March 18th! We celebrated one day early at one of her favorite local play-places, a gymnastics studio. It's hard to believe Miss Ava is already 3 whole years old...time flies!

One of the two cakes from Auntie Michelle and Uncle Jeff...thanks again, guys!

This is THE Barbie princess cake that Ava has been admiring at the local grocery store for MONTHS now! You should have seen how careful Jeff was taking this cake out of it's box!
Note the green shamrocks on her dress to acknowledge the fact that we're celebrating Ava's birthday on St. Patrick's Day. Come to think of it, Ava's first international excursion was to Ireland...she didn't see much since she was still in utero, though!

The staff did a pretty good job of setting everything up for us when we got there.

Ava shows off her "Pop" and her cute birthday girl outfit, a gift from Auntie Daniela!

The party kicked-off with some trampoline bouncing fun! There were 6 trampolines lined up and everyone got a chance to do some jumping.

Bouncing and jumping are definitely one of Ava's favorite things to do...looks like her buddy, Drew enjoys it too.

Still jumping....and jumping!

Cousin Caleb takes a whirl on the trampoline!

Balloon-chasing fun ensues...

The adults visit while they watch the kids play.

One of the coaches gives Ava her birthday girl medal!

Ta-da! Look how red-faced this little jumper is from all the crazy bouncing on the trampoline!

One of the coaches explains the rules of play to a captive audience...

Samantha and Ava enjoy the fun obstacle course...

The babies, Addie, Anna, Linley and Dylan enjoy some balloon-bouncing fun!

Aunt Sarah, Daddy and Matthew's big sister, Alex, help cheer the kiddos on as they get ready to jump.

Ava patiently waits for her turn on the trampoline runway, leading into the square foam pit, behind her buddies Kerby and Joseph...

Cousin Caleb takes one of his turns jumping into the foam square pit!

The mommies help get their little ones settled after getting them all piled into the party room.

The party-goers were famished after all the crazy running and jumping around, so it was pizza for everyone...yum!

Ava REALLY loved her "Barbie princess" cake and got some much needed help from cousin Caleb to blow out her candles.

The birthday girl was looking pretty worn-out from all the energetic fun!

Looks like someone else partied a little too hard...sleep well, baby John!

She had tons of fun blowing bubbles (a left-over of her party favors) when we got home!

Adam, Ava and I went to lunch after church to celebrate her actual birthday, March 18th. Ava ate spaghetti and meatballs...one of her favorite foods, right up there with chicken nuggets!
Adam and I couldn't be more happy and proud to be the parents of our beautiful, precious daughter. She amazes us every day with her wit, charm and kindness. We sure love you, Ava Grace!
