Happy Easter!

Here's my better-late-than-never Easter post...

We spent Easter weekend at our lake house, and on the way out we just had to capture a pic of Ava in the beautiful Texas bluebonnets! I swear, I've never seen so many bluebonnets...just covering the sides of the highway for MILES!

Ava woke up Easter morning there and had to hunt down her basket.
Where could it be? She and Daddy looked all over the house, then finally...

She talked about the silly Easter bunny hiding her basket in the clothes dryer for DAYS! She also talked about having seen a REAL bunny in the backyard there the day before Easter...she was pretty excited. We told her it was the Easter bunny checking to make sure she was there so he could deliver her basket the next morning.

Discovering what's inside the basket...

Ava had lots of fun hunting easter eggs at Grandpa and Grandma's church. Here she is with her cutie-pie cousins Caleb and Trevor.

Our Cedar Creek Lake House

Our lake house has been seeing us quite a bit lately now that the major construction (turning it from a 2 bedroom to a 3 bedroom) is finished...thanks again to Uncle Michael, Poppy and Jeff for all of their VERY HARD work. I'll take more pics this weekend to show the other updates like tile in the sunroom and bathroom, re-painting of...pretty much all walls, new carpet, etc.

Here are some pics from the past month...

Adam's new toy...not sure who was more excited about this...Adam or Ava!

Watch out people...she's a crazy driver. She calls her vehicle our "golf car"...

Ava in the sunroom, which has become her playroom...

Adam playing golf. Notice he's hitting the ball out of our neighbors back yard that backs up to the golf course...guess he'd better keep working on his swing!

Ava and I dancing in the living room in our p.j.'s...

Ava playing croquet in the front yard...

We're really enjoying the lake house so far and look forward to getting to share it with friends and family!
